I just bought my iPhone a month ago. I've wanted a gps system like Sky Caddie or Garman but just couldn't justify the cost. Now with my iPhone and $30 GolfShot app, I have my gps. I just played with a Sky Caddie owner and we had identical readings for distance calculations. Plus keeping score for myself and my partner was easy.

This is a quality app. I used this with a full battery and finished 18 holes with 60% left on iphone4. I did use power saver mode on the app though. Accurate and very user friendly. A must for all you golfers out there.

If you love to play golf then this app is a MUST for every iPhone user....and the PRICE IS INCREDIBLY LOW!!! When I first heard about this app from my golf partner I was obviously skeptical due to its LOW PRICE considering it's a GPS device for golfers. Once I tried the free version after one hole, I immediately purchased the app and will NOT play without it. (Yes, I would but you know what I mean...I'd play golf if it were rainning deer) The ease of use and the quality of the app makes the $30.00 I spent seem like I ripped the makers of Golfshot off. Using Google Earth as it's GPS shots of the course, the only drawback is if your course changes tee boxes and they aren't somehow updated. Also, the wait time for the app to update to the correct yardage from shot to shot is a little slow. Hoping that the latest update will take care of that problem. Otherwise the app works tremendously well. The yardage for placed shots is on the money. Love the fact that if you want to hit the ball in a specific area on a hole, you can touch that area on the screen and it will show you the distance from the tee box to the circled area, as well as the distance from the circled area to the green. During this feature, you can "drag" the circled area anywhere on the playing hole until you find your correct first shot and approach shot. Truly an amazing app. Everyone I show this app to are amazed as well. Too bad the Verizon customers are missing out on this fabulous app. Looking for more apps/updates from this company. Would be willing to pay for updates that would include "notes" for each shot, my average yardage for each club I play, wind speed/direction for each played hole,.....etc. I am sure this company is currently working on areas to improve this application that doesn't really need improving, just some more added features.

It takes a little while to get the GPS calabrated to give correct yardage. Also, it is a bit of a pain to have to turn the phone on every time you want to use it. Having said that, this App is definitely worth the money. Good library of courses. Good way to keep statistics. Glad I bought it.

I have used it for a couple of rounds now and can say it is well worth your money. Yardage is bang on. Does so much more then your everyday golf gps, that also comes with a hefty yearly subscription. Great product!

Very fast updating gps. Tons of stats and customizable layups make this app great. Shot tracking is a plus! Sends you an email of your round and can even post to facebook or twitter. If you have an iPhone and play golf you should own this app!!!!

I've tried a few of the apps and like this one best. It has arial view and also "big-number" view, which is mostly what I want.

Best $37 I've spent in many years. Had it's first run yesterday and was awe of playing partners, who loved getting an email of their scores straight after game. Has made golf even more fun than it was already!

This app is outstanding. Great GUI, easy to use, GPS works great. Tracking stats is awesome. It does drain your battery but I can always finish a round on a single charge and I do carry a Mophie juice pack in case I run out. My one suggestion is that the holes auto advance either by GPS location or at least after you put in your score and hit save. One less button press to streamline the app.

A very good App for the price gives enough detail as to the round played and information as you go round . I have found it very accurate on yardages on all the courses I have played . Well worth buying

This App is the best app on the iPhone. When using it, make sure that you turn off Wifi, Bluetooth, and 3G and I reckon that you would be able to get 2 rounds in on a 3Gs with a fully charged battery.

Ok, I've tried most of the golf stat/GPS apps for the iphone, and this one is by far the best. Hands down the easiest to use and the best stat tracker. Combine this with Golf Plan and you have the ultimate combo. Well worth the price for both these apps. Highest recommendation.

This is the one-stop shop for everything you need for your golf game. Gives you immediate yardages wherever you are on the course. It seems to have every course mapped...I've never had a problem with that. Plus keep score of you and your friend's golf game. Can't beat this app...anywhere. It has fully replaced by Callaway UPro!

Bought this on a bit of a whim as wasn't sure how good it would be. Played with someone with a SkyCaddy & his £250+ kit read exactly the same as me but with inferior images & nowhere near the same amount of extras. Top buy for £18.

Far and away the best $30 I've ever spent! So it's maybe a yard or two off from sky caddie. It was $30!!!
