I bought this app to understand how hand held GPS technology would work with golf courses. Frankly, i was anticipating buying one of the expensive units from Garmin and Callaway. Why bother? This inexpensive app has every course that I play in the DFW area downloaded, and the yardages, ease of use and scorecard feature makes it invaluable for those of us without a country club home. The statistics function is nice, but it would need to allow more input to really be valuable to us 15 handicappers. I am simply amazed! Recommend it to everyone.

Just back from my first round and first use. Took me a couple of holes to get the routine down for moving from hole to hole and how to enter the score. But I must air I did not play with it prior going to the course. It was easy to find the course. Just turn it on and select start and it found the course immediately. one of the players had a laser And my distances were right on. Also checked vs. the fairway sprinklers distances. I am very happy with it. Now when I travel I will not worry about loading my Skycaddy. I will just go. I highly recommend this app. Very very nice.

Having the gps to show distance is great, but the aspect of this app that blew me away was that it really breaks down your game and shows where you are statistically after each round. Then is shows statistically how you are improving from one round to the next.

Have played courses where yardage was up to 20 yards off

Just used the app for the first time. Worked great, very accurate! Only used 40% of my battery. Highly Rec!

Like everything. What's the purpose of selecting a tee off club? Doesn't show up anywhere in stats or anything...

Tried them all. This is absolutely the best. This is my first review in 3 years of app downloads, if that means anything. I am a 24 handicap, and have been playing for a year. I didn't start out that way, obviously, and this app is owed some credit for that.

I want to thank the originators of this app... It is the bomb... And was priced very reasonably... I use it every time I golf, and laugh when it's just as accurate as my buddy's $450 Sky Caddie... And it's more visible, has more features AND it's on a bigger screen... Scoring with this app is ALMOST as fast as writing it with a pencil, but makes it worth it when it comes to totaling our scores up... AND it keeps all of my old scorecards in it instead of cluttering up my dresser with old paper ones...

It has about every feature you could ask for, except the only negative thing I can think of is that there is very limited types of game play. You're pretty much limited to stroke play. I wanna see a scramble game play on here as well as best ball. That would be a great update please! I highly suggest this app though for any golfer. It has yardage, arial views, distances to hazards and distances to clear hazards. It has front, center and back of green distances and tons more features and stats that I didn't list. I love this app! Highly recommended!!

Very accurate within 1 or 2 feet. Helped shed 4 strokes off my game. Highly recommend the app for the average golfer.

The best GPS for golfers out there! This app works amazing with it's sister app 'golf plan'. I recommend both if you truly want to improve your game!!

Had my doubts about this app. But I've been very happy, it's been spot on and doesn't drain battery much at all.
