Sorry, Skycaddie, but why would I spend $300+ on your device when I can get most, if not all of the same info on my iPhone for $30? This is a steal... and VERY accurate.

This is a brilliant app and well worth £18. Works as described, gps very accurate. Only downside is the battery power that is required to run it. On 3GS a 3.5 hour round uses 80% of the battery when using the power save function. If you get caught behind some slow players your battery may not last without a mili case or other charger.

Outstanding, should have a 5-star rating. Learn the battery saving ops and play 27 holes w/battery to spare.best app I have for the money!!

I have the skycaddie sg5 and this app is WAYYYYYY better in every aspect of gps caddies. Great job!

I was contemplating which GPS to buy and had narrowed my selection to a couple of £300 systems. As a 2 handicapper I need to know carry distances over hazards, lay up distances and green lengths. I was amazed to find out this app does all this.

You can't please everyone, but this is truly a 5 star app in this golfers book! I love this app and the GolfPlan app! Great work!

I have always updated Golfshot to its latest version & never had a problem. Any problems with this app I had have been due to me not reading the instructions correctly very embarrasing after emailing Golfshot support line.

This app is just utterly fantastic. Been using it for two weeks now and it still amazes me when I walk down the middle of the fairway and stand on the 100 yard marker then look at the screen to see the exact same distance calculated!

Can not change contacts group when need to email the score card to my friend.

What can I say..... This app delivers big time. Used on many Bristol, UK golf courses on my iPhone 4. Deadly accurate, great lock facility and useful visuals. Second time I used this I beat my best score at thornbury gc by 6 shots (76)!!!! Highly recommended. No brained.

This is an excellent app. The yardage is within 5 to 10 yards and the fact you can select lay up clubs and it shows them on the google map is worth double the money. The satellite linking is a tad slow but nothing to be concerned about unless you put your phone in sleep after every shot. The stats keeping has really helped me focus on the parts of my game that a normal score card can't. The only draw back between this app and a top notch range finder is the fact there's no way to gauge elevation.

I have used this app out on the course with both iphone and ipad and it is great. Have tried some of the other golf gps apps and this one is way better for two simple reasons: 1) you can actually use it during a round of golf without getting kicked off the course. Tracking shots and inputting scores is super fast. Other apps I have used make it take so long to input shots that I was getting dirty looks from my partners before the first green. This app didn't slow me down at all. 2) The lock button that lets you put it into a locked screen power save mode so you can drop the phone back in your pocket without turning off the power and losing gps signal or leaving it on and accidentally pushing all kinds of buttons in your pocket.

This app models the creativity that apple users thrive for. They took the time to make this the best app for sure. Things I would like to see . .

This thing has saved me so many times. I even emailed support to say aerials were missing for a course in Australia and 48 hours later they had fixed it!

I originally had this for iPhone 3gs but before I could use it, my phone broke. I transferred the app to iPhone4 and the GPS tracking wouldn't work until I logged on to Golfshot's website which warned iPhone 4 users why it wouldn't work! I changed the settings and it's now works brilliantly. I also had a query as to why it wasn't scoring my Stableford points correctly; this was answered speedily by Golfshot through email and again now works fine. An excellent app-thoroughly recommended.
