FANTASTIC tommyt1234 - Version 2.1 - 8/4/2010 - United States

Ok, I've tried most of the golf stat/GPS apps for the iphone, and this one is by far the best. Hands down the easiest to use and the best stat tracker. Combine this with Golf Plan and you have the ultimate combo. Well worth the price for both these apps. Highest recommendation.

LOVE IT mom1123 - Version 2.1 - 8/3/2010 - United States

This is the one-stop shop for everything you need for your golf game. Gives you immediate yardages wherever you are on the course. It seems to have every course mapped...I've never had a problem with that. Plus keep score of you and your friend's golf game. Can't beat this app...anywhere. It has fully replaced by Callaway UPro!

A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!! Fins up! - Version 2.1 - 8/2/2010 - United States

Far and away the best $30 I've ever spent! So it's maybe a yard or two off from sky caddie. It was $30!!!

Best Golf GPS software Gaelforce - Version 2.1 - 8/2/2010 - United States

I have used this product since October of 2009 on my iPhone. It has worked at small, rural courses in Iowa, Wisconsin and resort courses in Illinois and Florida. The product is frequently updated with new features. The speed of acquisition is acceptable and its accuracy is usually within several yards of comparable laser measurements. The score card sent via e-mail to you and your partners at the end of the golf round is a nice finishing feature of this product. My only experience with product support was with e-mail and a fix was sent to me within 24 hours- incredible for a $29.95 software product!

I Bob in Brighton - Version 2.1 - 8/2/2010 - United States

I had some trepidation about spending $30 for an app, but I am really pleased by the product. All the courses that I play regularly are on it, the graphics are great, and the features are all that I could ask for. To be clear, though, I don't use any of the scoring parts. I might be tempted if I was on an unfamiliar course, but I just want to know distances and avoid hazards. Good work to all the writers.

$30=$300 TYLER MITCHELL - Version 2.1 - 8/1/2010 - United States

I spent $300 on a range finder which died on me, I wasn't going to spend that money again and after some deep research I bought golfshot. After my 1st round I realized it's what I should have done to begin with. Golfshot used half of my iphone4 battery in a 4.5 hr round. Keeps stats and works great.

Goodbye SkyCaddie Don Pedro de Zapote - Version 2.1 - 8/1/2010 - United States

Cheap at twice the price. Downloaded and tried this App out on my iPhone 4. By comparison to my SkyCaddie it was equally accurate but on the plus side the display on the iPhone is way more readable, the scorecard and statistics logging is way more user friendly and as soon as I closed out the round I received an e-mail with my scorecard. The Sky view is also clear and accurate. The only potential downside is that a 4.5 hour round used 80% of my battery capacity but that was with the screen turned on for the entire round and background GPS set to max. However if I piggyback my TruePower iVPro back up battery on the phone I am good for at least two rounds.

Great aide! BRIAN OWEN - Version 2.1 - 8/1/2010 - United States

This is a well thought out app. As a beginner in this game -a very frustrated beginner, I like how after each hole It asks about some of the specifics of my shots. For instance, was my drive on target, left, right, or short; how many sand shots; how many putts? Being able to record that data after each hole allows me to see really just how good or bad my abilities are on the course. Of course, the big advantage of that is seeing the improvement made and getting motivated to keep practicing/playing.

Great Golf GPS RJBarfield - Version 2.1 - 8/1/2010 - United States

I have used a Skycaddie sg5 for over a year. When I had my iPhone 3G I downloaded this app and used it when I played a course that was not in the skycaddie or for out of state courses. I didn't get rid of the skycaddie because 1) I do believe it is more accurate and 2) I had not been forced to renew the yearly subscription. Now that my renewal date has come up and I have the iPhone 4 the skycaddie will no longer be used.

Very Pleased PJZ84 - Version 2.1 - 7/29/2010 - United States

I've used the app twice so far and have been very pleased. Entering the score and tracking my stats has helped see where I need to improve. The distance is very accurate in most cases. If you turn off your phone while using it tho it takes a minute or two for the satalite to find where you are at. All in all a very good app for the price. I love that there are no annual fees.

Great Rangefinder patwcar - Version 2.1 - 7/29/2010 - United States

I am a previous skycaddie user and liked that product. GolfShot GPS is every bit as accurate as skycaddie with better features. It is also nice to see the ariel view of the hole. It actually helped in a recent round because I could see a tree from a blind shot and the ariel view showed the fairway in relation to the tree. A big step up from skycaddie. Golfshot GPS also has easy scoring and it uploads the round to their website. I can log into their website and see stats for one or many rounds. The only gripe is that the website says you can point to a spot on the ariel pic and it will give you yardage to that spot. I haven't figured that out. I give this app 5 stars. Easy on the wallet and no subscription fees makes it a no brainer.

Golfshot & iPhone 4 daBick - Version 2.1 - 7/29/2010 - United States

I just finished playing 18 and used Golfshot on my new iPhone 4. It works really great (much better than on my old 3G) and I still had 60% battery life remaining after the round. Golfshot and the iPhone 4 are a winning combination! I found a mount to hold my phone on my push cart handle and now I don't have to fumble around trying to get my phone out of my pocket all the time and holding up play.

Good Value. pauldcherry - Version 2.1 - 7/29/2010 - United States

It's worth it. It will save you strokes per round. Would be 5 star, if the Gps overview of holes worked. I'll research if this can be corrected.

Great app Cajunace17 - Version 2.1 - 7/29/2010 - United States

Love this app! Works fantastic with the iPhone 4. I am so impressed and so are my gilding buddies.

Must Have! Teachthestudents - Version 2.1 - 7/28/2010 - United States

Any golfer with an iPhone needs this app. It's not only an unbelievable gps system but is also an excellent score/stat keeper. At the end of the round you are automatically emailed your scorecard. Love this app and I know you will too! It is also easily uploaded to facebook which is a great addition!

Awesome TaberWood - Version 2.1 - 7/28/2010 - United States

This app is amazing! Does everything you will need on the course!

iPhone 4 User blubordr - Version 2.1 - 7/28/2010 - United States

It worked better than I expected!! No need to hunt down a course, just turn it on and it loads automatically. I was truly impressed! It actually shaved strokes off my game because I wasn't having to rely on guesstimations from course makers.. Let alone having to waste time tracking them down.. Thanks

Pretty much what I wanted JonnyAvon - Version 2.1 - 7/28/2010 - United States

It took me about 6 or 7 holes to get familiar with the different features, but I felt like I had been using it for a year by the end of the first round. Not overwhelming with bells and whistles, but it feels like it does enough, especially for the one time fee and no subscription costs. Play with it a few rounds and you will be happy you bought it. I had concerns about battery life from hearing my friends complain, but with the iPhone 4 I was able to play all eighteen and still had juice left afterwords.

Impressed Golfman8042 - Version 2.1 - 7/27/2010 - United States

Used this app for two rounds this week with excellent results. Battery on my iPhone 4 lasted for both rounds! Accurate, fast, easy to use, great stats.

Perfect Runningolfer - Version 2.1 - 7/27/2010 - United States

I really, really love this app. I got a SkyCaddy as a gift after I downloaded this but I still much prefer this app. The yardage between the two are usually within a couple yards and there's no yearly fee as with SkyCaddy. Can't say enough good about it.

Best $30 u can spend on golf Kegerz21 - Version 2.1 - 7/27/2010 - United States

I have been wanting to purchace a gps for a long time but never wanted to pony up the big bucks that it requires for ex.skycaddy! So I spent the $30 thinking it was worth the risk. Was I ever surprised ...... Its easily the best $30 I spent on golf in a long long time!&

Ok, it's worth it. Nicholas Spahr - Version 2.1 - 7/27/2010 - United States

After some serious hesitation, I decided to buy this app. And it was worth it. $29.99 is a F#@*&ing lot to pay for an iPhone application, but come on, it's GOLF, the most expensive sport on the planet (with the possible exception of polo, which requires horses.) Anyway, it's well-built, does what it says it will do (much better than expected,) and it has lots of features. It could be a tiny bit more intuitive, but i'm not complaining. I didn't have any battery issues during my 5 and 1/2 hour 18-hole round. The stats functions and scorecard were an added bonus.
