I've been using the app WEEKLY for about three months in Hawaii and Japan and have had no problems. Satellite acquisition is fast and just as accurate as my friends Skycaddie SG5 and Golf Buddy Pro. My only complaint is it drains my phone's battery as well as my Mophie Juice Pack. Although I turn off "Automatic Notification," "Bluetooth," "Automatic Screen Brightness" and put the unit to "sleep" between the T and green, the batteries still drain to 20% by the end of the round. So the question is, should I deal with the battery probem or buy a $400 golf GPS? I can live with the battery problem.

It allows for full aerial views, awith responsive and accurate yardage markings, even broken down to layup shots, hazards, back and front of green. The statistic portion is something I didn't think to use, but it's so user friendly, having those stats are very nice! Most courses I play are also in the database. Even following their battery saving instructions, I was only at about 54% after the round, using it for every shot (turning off between shots); you just have to turn it on about 30 seconds before your shot. After trying the other "simpler" GPS apps, this one is a winner.

The battery issue is a problem. The solution is to turn off the phone when not needed. Just anticipate a minute before you need a distance, and turn the phone back on. It's pretty quick relocating you. This is a great app with great customer support.

Absolutely great app. Accurate on the courses in No. California and Tahoe area. Great updates, too.

I have used the Bushnell Pinseeker for more than two years. A friend swears by his Sky Caddy. I usually play the same three courses so who needs detailed info? Well I need to report that there is much more than 10x the cost in value in this product.

Good app, does exactly what it says. However, it does not keep track of club distances for your statistics. This is a needed improvement.

The first time I used it I had a problem connecting to the satellites. I sent the problem to the help center and they sent me the solution later that day. There is no comparison with sky caddies. This product offers so much more for the cost. I compared it to a bushnell laser range finder and it was consistantly 0-3 yards off, great results. The 5th star is missing because on rare occasions the yardage takes 2-3 minutes to be accurate. Love the product otherwise

I've been using Golfshot since August and I am delighted with the product. Last week we went to Mexico and used it to play at the Cozumel Country Club. It is a great tool with an extensive database. This is a great value and I highly recommend it!

For the money - best golf gps I have ever used - sure it is not perfect but neither are the others. I was skeptical - one round is all it took for me. I especially like the idea that Shotzoom will continue to update the app.

This is a great app. It is a great tool to use to refine your golf game. The stat tracking is a huge help.

This app works great. The distances are right on. Has all the courses I play. Great buy!!!!

Distances are accurate( I've tested it several times with my friends range finder). I like the ability to calculate lay up distances. The only 2 negatives I can think of are: 1) pretty hard on your battery 2) there is a feature that calculates the distance a shot went. I wish it would store info on club selection to give you an average distance each club goes.

This is a GREAT app! Truly amazing and worth every penny! I bought my iPhone (essentially) for this app and I am beyond thrilled. I have used both a Bushnell and Nikon rangefinder and two of my buddies have SkyCaddies - this makes those items look like passé junk. I agree with the points of the last few reviews and won't reiterate them. The stats they keep are a really good tool for improving your game - if you have ever kept stats on you're rounds you know what I'm talking about. Buy this app!!

Overall, great application. Sky view of the hole is nice. Yardage (front bunker, front of the green, layups...etc) are perfect. 18 holes in 4 hrs. and battery down to 30%. Used the power save with gps still tracking. Love it. Looking forward to an update with new features.

Have u ever had a hole in one, eagle, or any great shot for that matter? Then this app is perfect for u. You can search for any coarse and pull up the layout of the hole that u hit the great shot on, and show it to ur buddies at the bar.

This app is great. Power drainage is NOT a problem. All you have to do is tap the power button on the top of the iPhone off soon after each shot and turn the power on a minute or so before each shot. I have used the app for 2 months and I am constantly amazed at the functionality.

Love this app. $30 is a little pricier than other apps like Golfcard, but still much cheaper than a skycaddie. Power drainage is a problem, but i did made through 18 holes with 15% power left. Need update for more features like side games: Skins, Nassau and etc. Other than that- i love this app. Very easy to use.
