Not bad at all

This has enabled me to focus my practice based on accurate data. I'm also getting data on my club distances and my GIR has steadily improved. GPS on course is a bonus too.

Does exactly what it says,fantastic app

I think this is the best value for money. I selected this $20+ app bs a $300 specialist unit and with all the add on of the stats of my game, it is great.

Have been using this app for the past year. It would be a great app just with the distance features but it offers so much more. Used in conjunction with Gameplan it has really improved my game. I would recommend it. It may cost a bit but compared to a dedicated golf GPS it is very cheap.

Essential for any golfer. I play allot of different courses & this has them all - with no subscriptions! Highly recommend.

Used the lite version for a long time but now have the GPS version and used it once or twice now. Very good and quite fast to update when you arrive at your ball, pull it out of your pocket and it has already worked out your range. Only used 25% of a charge for a full 18 holes so battery life is fine (Iphone 4 + iOS6). I will be using this more often.

Of of the best apps ever

Purchased this app recently and just tried it out on the course. Very, very impressed. I most likely won't even consider a dedicated unit now as this app seems to tick all the boxes for me! Certainly takes the guess work out of working out distances!

Fantastic GPS golf app, easy to use and seems very accurate. Would be great to get stats for the non-primary golfers and also more revised aerial photos (a local course here in Perth, Australia shows photos with bunker locations that are not current anymore).

This app does everything you need. I have even emailed Golfshot GPS Support to enquire on how to include my home course - they were great as well and very helpful. Re the earlier review saying it needs to be able to do it in metres as well as yards - it does!! You go into account then into GPS settings and down the bottom you go into Unit of Distance then select metres/kilometres or yards/miles. Highly recommended app.

Love Golfshot GPS. Has certainly helped my game. Would be lost on the course without it now.

Great app and really accurate!

I have tried many gps golf apps and 2 gps hand held devices. This app is the best I have come across in an extensive search. I have played it now for nearly a year, without any issues. It is very accurate and simple to use, it won't take you long to figure it out. I have played it at several courses with ease . If your phone is fully charged( I use my iPhone) then you will have enough juice to last a round however, I set my default display time to 2 minutes before the screen goes into power save mode ( the same as using the phone in normal mode). I have a back up portable charger bought from eBay for about $20 which I used once when I forgot to charge my phone. All good. This app is very very good. You won't be disappointed believe me!

I have used Golf Shot for 4 games so far, and it is exactly what I was after. Even though it is expensive by App standard, I was considering a dedicated GPS device of rangefinder which are way more expensive, so I consider it a real bargain. I have been using the standard GPS view and scorecard functions and find them really easy to use. I had read about concerns over battery life, so I make sure my iPhone 4 is fully charged before a round, but I haven't used more than 30% of power per round (i.e. hasn't gone below 70%) I have found it really useful in accurate distance measurement, particularly when off fairway. The automated scoresheet and shot analysis is also a great way to make you think about your game and to track improvement (hopefully)

Love this app! I'm ridiculous with stats and this app is amazing if your into stats. I especially like how it can track shot distance on clubs and give you an average for each club. Very cool did I say I love this app.

It seems others are saying the same thing. This is the best app on my phone. I only use it to score, track my scores over time, get distances and hole planning. There's a lot more it can do but it doesn't slow the process down or penalize you for not using its other features.
