Fantastic app. I had tried a couple of similar applications. I have a Bushnell laser range finder so I used that to judge the accuracy of the apps side by side. Golfshot was very accurate, within 2-3 yards of my laser and much easier to use. I really like the Statistics function, it allows me to track my scores and the areas of my game that need improvement. I played yesterday and hit 71% of my fairways and only 22% of GIR, so clearly I need to go to the range and work on my ironplay. Golfshot tracks this type of feedback easily

This tool is amazing. I'm a 9 and shaving that quickly. Without question I can shave 6 strokes/round vs playing without it. Never want to play another round without it!

Golfshot is great for tracking data like Fairways hit, GIR, and putts. Makes tracking your progress a breeze. The GPS is usually dead-on accurate, although weather can sometimes interfere. Amazing how many courses are in the database. Haven't played one yet that wasn't there.

The update addressed one of my prior gripes by allowing faster Change from one hole to elsewhere on the course - such as going from 18 to 1 in a shotgun start. The new version seems more accurate now. It still eats my batteries and requires a backup battery charger.

This is the ultimate "skycaddie". Right on the numbers every time. Easy to operate and always correct because of the free updates. If you buy another app for golf then you have spent too much or gotten not enough. This is truly why everyone needs an IPhone with this app on it. Anything else and you lose! We have actually tested this against the SkyCaddie and it was more accurate! Had it up against golf logic yesterday and again right on the money...$30+ up aginst $400. Who would have known accuracy and ease of use costs so little.

I have used the GolfShot GPS on three courses since purchasing the app and I am extremely impressed with the accuracy and detail provided for each course. More skilled players have seen the program (many of them with $300+ GPS black and white devices that GolfShot GPS runs circles around) and they have all been jealous. And add to the mix the scorekeeping and automatic e-mails to players that I have in my Contacts and GShot GPS is the complete tool for any golf outing.

Works as advertised. Used it twice so far and the setup, course recognition and statistical features are easy to use. Compared yardages with a Golf Buddy GPS and they were in agreement. You do have to go through the settings to turn on battery draining items and it will last for 18 holes. Highly recommended.

Great golf app. Very useful for tracking your stats and for yardage on you shots.

Today is the first time I have used Golfshot for the whole round. Actually, I started using it on hole number 6 when someone else said to my partner "Do you want me to "shoot" you a distance....which meant to hold up this thing that she had to aim at pin. I then turned my Golfshot on and showed her my screen with all the information that it gives. They were all amazed. I didn't use it at first because it's just brand new for me and I wanted to get used to it before I took it out in front of these particular golfers. They all loved it. Next time I will enter all the info about the round. It is spectacular. I then emailed everyone copies of the scorecard!!
