How to Join a Golf Genius Tournament Through Golfshot
1. Start Round
Start Your Round as normal. If you need to select a facility simply choose the facility that you’re tournament is taking place at.
2. Click GGID Button
Your teebox will be decided within the Golf Genius Tournament app.
3. Enter GGID
A GGID is a unique code from your event organizer that lets you access tournament details and live scoring in the Golf Genius app or event website. You can’t create one yourself; it’s provided via email, the event site, or printed materials.
4. Check Facility & Course
While Golfshot has a plethora of golf course facilities in our data base, there is a small chance we don’t have your tournament facility’s course tracked correctly, so it always helps to double check!
5. Select Your Name
This selects you as the “primary player”, which just tells us who to score for when scores are entered.
6. Start Your Round
Don’t forget to double check your round settings!
7. Score & View Leaderboard
Play and score as you normally would in the Golfshot app. Tap the “trophy” icon in the side-bar to view the live tournament leaderboard!
