To get the most out of your battery charge, go to Settings > GPS, Scoring, Caddie > Background GPS and choose 1 to 3 minutes. You can also use these battery-saving tips: Charge your phone fully before each round, turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, reduce the screen brightness, and lock your screen between each shot.
Put your iPhone in Power Save Mode between shots to conserve battery life on your phone and improve performance.
- Start a round on your iPhone and open the Round Menu > Power Save Mode
- When using Power Save Mode, there is no need to lock your screen. Golfshot will automatically turn your screen off if you put your phone in your pocket or bag.
- Decrease the Background GPS time in your app Settings. When combined with Power Save Mode, this will minimize battery drain due to GPS.
